The forward bulkheads were a lot easier than the front seatback. I was convinced after the number of mistakes I made on the front seatback that I wasn't going to be able to build this airplane. You learn fast, however, and each part/layup gets easier and you do a much better job of it.
I bought a Fein sander about the time I finished F-22 and F-28, it works great to trim the extra fiberglass and epoxy. I didn't mess with peel try or knife trim, since I did such a good job on the layup and didn't want to mess it up. However, the Fein sander chowed right through even multiple layers in short order.
