peel ply keeping the extra epoxy from making a bump. |

Using a straightedge, and, the plans given dimension for
'length' of these pieces, I lay them out on the table. |

Then use a Sharpie marker to draw a line. I use my
electric scissors to cut these to size. |

We do these kinds of layups on plastic or on waxed paper.
Makes the wet out go much quicker, much easier and much less messy. |

Here's the spar after all 4 UND layers have been added,
they've been trimmed to length on the short axis (electric scissors make
quick work of this sort of thing) and the peel ply has been added. |

You earn your right to fly a nice airplane like the Cozy
doing these layups. They take a very long time - even with an epoxy
mixer or a helper. |
