The plans suggest a ballast compartment ahead of F-0.
I made one there, a tad different than the plans suggest, using a somewhat
unique method of building a flange for the door to attach to.

Not at all happy with the plans install location of the
landing and taxi lights, I created an install for them in the nose of the
plane, ahead of F-0 and below the ballast compartment. Click on the

I built, like several other builders, a pair of
'gear-retract auto closing' nosewheel doors. |

Compliments of the Cozy Girrrls, I had my Gerdes nosewheel
refurbished and fitted with a spacer. |
