Trimmed the ends of the aileron ends with a Fein blade, then sanded them flush. Re-installed the aileron in the wing and cleaned up.

Carved the ends of the aileron to .4" deep then did the 2 ply layup on same

Drilled holes in the shear web and mounted the flight control pieces into the wing rib. While I was at it, bolted together parts and mounted the right wing's as well.

Filed the edges of the aileron cutout until it pivoted up and down without binding. Removed it from the wing and started cutting the recesses in each end.

Test fitted the aileron, with hinges bolted on, to the wing. Adjusted clearance(s) with a file and hack saw blade.

Drilled holes in hinges & A2 & -5, sanded dull then flox & pop riveted them onto the aileron

Filed the .2" slots a tad then re-mounted the aileron hinges, aileron, clamped it in place, hot melt glued the hinges to the ailerons then removed the aileron assembly from the wing.

Cut the hinge pieces to length and firm mounted with nuts & washers. Started fitting the aileron for drilling and floxing to the hinges.

Made a pattern to mark the hinge for holes, trimmed a 6' length of hinge to length, drilled its holes then fitted to the wing. Cut and filed the .2" slots for the hinges.

Sanded the ends of the aileron; started fitting and aligning the hinge piece via making the marker piece.

Sanded the edges of the rear spar / aileron cutout. Removed heat shrink from the Click Bonds and trimmed glass around them / chased threads with a die.

Measured, cut glass for the rear spar layup and ends. Microed, did the layup, did the ends then cleaned up.

Removed the aileron from the vacuum bag, stripped the peel ply and cleaned up. Added new heat shrink to the click bonds on the wing.

Microed the foam / installed A2, A5 and A10, then added the 1 ply BID layup and vacuum bagged / cleaned up.

Cleaned up. Measured, then cut glass for the aileron LE layup. Filled the epoxy pump.

Carved and sanded the rear spar trough to finished state. Adjusted the fit of the A10 tube with some slivers of foam.

Carved and sanded foam out of the trailing edge spar channel, floxed on one Clickbond that came off; cut, fitted & microed the steel rod to the aileron leading edge

Marked then cut out the left aileron

Added 4 layups to the left wing; 2 ply UNI over the inboard hard points, 3 ply BID forward inboard wing rib, 3 ply BID over the aft inboard wing rib and 3 ply UNI over the outboard hard point

Cut the .7" deep recess for the forward inboard rib, cut sanded & carved for the aft inboard rib, installed the plywood/aluminum piece that mounts the wing root bearing

Sanded the edges of the inboard wing ribs

Hung up the right wing, removed the jigs from the table and stored them, opened the wing attach bolt recess holes in the left wing then cleaned up

Added the incidence board, peel ply & hot melt then removed the left wing from the jig table & hung it up

Did the top skin layup; peel plied it, clamped a straight edge to the trailing edge and a flat piece over the Click Bonds

Sanded the wing top, cut glass for the top skin layup, cleaned up then vacuumed the wing top

Added the 4" x 4" 3 ply BID layup and LWA-2

Carved foam from the inside of FC-1 and floxed in a new LWA-6

Alodined the new LWA-2 and LWA-6 pieces, cut the layups over the misplaced LWA-2, heated it then removed it

Routed around the attach depressions. Vacuumed the wing thoroughly then spray-glued the peel ply in front of the ailerons and added the click bonds

Belt sanded the top of the upper spar cap to take down the high spots

Added micro to fill the rudder cable channel and other holes / dings

Installed the rudder conduit, made and installed an FM radio antenna, marked for and drilled for the Clickbonds, cut slots in the click bond heads, sanded the foam a bit then cleaned up

Finished routing the slot for the rudder cable

Sanded the front of the spar cap trough and rounded the top edge. Marked for the rudder cable tubing and routed part of the channel.

Sawed off the fish tail, removed peel ply from the trailing edge

Did the top spar cap layup, peel plied same then cleaned up

Stowed the right wing, paper & tape protected the left, the floor and readied the spar tape roll then cleaned up

Re-assembled jigs for the left wing, hot melt glued the bottom to the jigs, flipped the wing, re-fastened jigs to the table then cleaned up & sanded dull the spar cap trough/shear web

Did the bottom skin layup; 2 plies UND, a BID piece on the tip & two UND pieces at the notch. Added peel ply & cleaned up.

Finished prep work for the bottom skin; sanded, made UND pieces, added brads to peel ply

Sanded the wing attach depressions and applied peel ply to the trailing edge

Removed the dam, peel ply, rounded the top corner of the spar section, added 1" peel ply and cleaned up

Cleaned up from the previous layup.

Did the bottom spar cap layup, peel plied same then cleaned up

Finished making the shear web dam, sanded the spar cap trough, paper and taped the wing & set up the roll of spar cap tape. Re-assembled the aileron hinges then mounted the aileron on the wing.

Removed the tops of the jigs from the wing on the table. Trimmed extra layup overhands, sanded down high spots and started building the dam for the front of the root area.

Cleaned flox and tape from around hinges

Sanded hinges and aileron then floxed & pop riveted the hinge halves onto the aileron

Removed tape & paper from the previous layup; removed the wing from the floor jig, moved it to the table, disassembled the jig and cleaned up.

Hot melt glued the aileron hinges, sanded the ends of the aileron and inside of the wing. Removed the aileron then drilled the rivet holes. Cleaned up. Microed FC-4 and -5 to the front face of the shear web on the left wing.

Hot melt glued the aileron hinges. Added the front half of the wing jigs to the left wing, removed peel ply from the shear web and started prep for microing FC-4 and -5 to the left wing.

Finished fitting and adjusting the aileron, pilot-drilled the aileron side hinge piece pop-rivet holes

Covered the wing foam with newspaper, laid up the 6 ply UNI shear web layup, applied it to the microed shear web, added the 3 ply BID pads, LWA2 & 3 then peel plied & cleaned up

Cut glass for the shear web, epoxied in the W-18s, microed in the LWA4s and laid out a pattern on the jig table for the shear web

Removed screws and finishing nails from micro joint done yesterday, removed the front halves of jigs 1-4

Microed FC1, FC2 and FC3 together in the jigs, microed the FC1 shell onto the root end of FC1

Cut the center out of the wing root piece, microed it back together, microed one joint on another FC piece, sanded jigs a bit to get the other pieces to fit & cleaned up

Measured & marked the foam cutout at the wing root

Removed foam from the electrical conduit, aileron torque tube, etc. covered with tape & reinstalled. Adjusted the ends of the FC blocks and checked alignment, gaps, etc. for the left wing

Filed the rear spar lower lip, adjsted the aileron fit then bondoed it into the wing. Removed it when the bondo cured rubbery then cleanup up the hinge pieces and aileron

Sawed hinge pieces to length, started fitting aileron into the slot it came out of by sanding edges, etc.

Marked hinges to length, cleaned up the Click Bond shanks, etc.

Finished the slots then marked, test fit & drilled the aileron hinge (one piece for now)

Cleaned up then started on the aileron hinge slots

Installed the roll bellcrank parts into the wing root after cutting out some extra bumps from the hardpoint layups

Measured & drilled for the bellcrank pivot mounts in the wing root

Did the 1 ply BID layup over A2, A5 & A10 after microing them in, peel plied then vacuum bagged the aileron

Cut slots and sanded foam for A2 and A5 pieces, cut a channel for A10, sanded the edges round then cut glass for the BID layup

Knife trimmed the trailing edge spar layup

Did the 3 ply BID trailing edge spar & ends, added 1 ply over the click bonds / hinge locations

Made paper patterns then cut glass for the trailing edge spar; vacuumed and cleaned up in prep for layup

Removed screws from the recently microed foam pieces, then adjusted the jigs for proper fit and installed the foam in the jigs. Cleaned up the front of the aileron.

Dug out the left wing foam and assembled it into the FC pieces, then cleaned up the foam mess

Did the micro, flox and 1 layer of UNI for the top skin

Put heat shrink on the Clickbonds & sanded them, cut the BID to size and test clamped the aluminum strip to the trailing edge

Ground slots into the Clickbonds. Sanded the forward face of the inboard spar section. Tape covered the aluminum channel for the trailing edge.

Sanded the recess around the wing bolt access, cut the peel ply around the Clickbonds and re-inserted them

Made a template for, made recesses & drilled holes for the for the aileron fastener Click Bonds. Spray glued a piece of 2" peel ply the wing just forward of the aileron cutouts.

Cut, shaved then sanded smooth the fish tail on the TE, removed peel ply & cleaned up the foam edge. Sanded the leading edge (previous layup) to fair into the next one. Spline sanded the wing top.

Made the NAV-2 antenna, installed it and the 2-meter in the wing leading edge foam

Removed nails from the rudder cable tubing, made up the balun end of the 2 meter antenna

CA-glued the nylaflow into the previously routed slot. Laid out then started making foil antennas for NAV-2 and 2 meter use

Set up for then routed the rudder cable nylaflow channel

Sanded the micro fill on the trailing edge. Bolted on the tops of the jigs, unscrewed the assembly from the table, flipped it over, re-affixed it to the table and started sanding the spar cap trough.

Removed peel ply from the training edge, sanded, then added dry micro into the recess & peel plied again

Finished the bottom skin; added the 2nd layer of UNI, the BID, the small pieces of UNI, peel plied, scissor trimmed & cleaned up

Cleaned up then vacuumed the wing bottom. Filled the epoxy pump, painted epoxy on the spar cap, microed the foam, added the flox corner then added 1 layer of UNI for the bottom skin

Sanded a depression in the foam around the wing attach bolt opening

Added 1" peel ply strips, made the wiring tube insert, sanded the depressions

Rounded the spar cap leading edge, cut the corner off the FC1 block, sanded LWA3 round with the spar cap, cleaned up

Removed peel ply from the bottom spar cap layup, the dam, sanded down the bumps, trimmed the ends, etc.

Did the 9 ply spar cap layup on the bottom spar cap, peel plied then cleaned up

Taped and newspapered the wing, filled the epoxy pump, vacuumed and cut peel ply as prep for the bottom spar cap layup

Leveled the jigs on the table, sanded the spar cap trough and built the dam in the root section

Finished removing the jigs from the frame and moved the wing to the table

Started removing the jigs from the frame on the floor

Sanded shear web. Removed front half of jigs, microed foam parts, painted epoxy on shear web then joined all, checked jigs & weighted for cure

Finished the shear web layup and the 3 ply BID pads under LWA2 & 3

Laid out waxed paper w/sizes and marked same

Cleaned up from previous steps then cut glass for the next layup

Made 2 each LWA6 pieces then carved and sanded the wing bolt access cutouts in FC1

Took the front jigs off

Microed FC-1, 2 & 3 together in the jig, peel plied clamped and weighted them down

Made some wood strips for clamping foam then final jigged FC-1, 2 & 3 in preparation for joining them with micro

Adjusted the jigs until all the foam core pieces fit properly, then cleaned up

Microed the FC-1 inboard core onto FC-1, then started fitting the cores into the jig/platform

Cut the center out of the FC-1 inboard core

Removed nails & screws from the foam core pieces

Microed the rest of the right wing foam cores into FC sections 1-5 and the root piece of FC-1

Microed many of the right wing foam pieces together

Removed foam from internal cavities, reviewed plans steps that were needed or already done and prepared to micro pieces together

Finished leveling & squaring jigs on the platform & hot glued them in place. Dry assembled foam cores in prep for joining them.

Continued mounting diagonal braces, leveling and squaring the jigs on the platform

Level & plumbed jig #3 on the platform after adding the diagonal brace

Leveled the platform, installed some hinges onto the jigs, mounted the jigs on the platform

Finished sanding the airfoil jigs. Cut them into pieces, then, set up the platform and marked the centerline, adjusting it to be level, etc.

Sanded the inside of the airfoil jigs to final shape, cleaned up then removed the joiner pieces to cut same into 4 pieces

Continued building wing jigs - at this point, I've band sawed out (rough) all the 'innards' and will sand to final shape.
